By visiting www.accountablebc.com, scheduling a discovery call, or engaging Accountable BC LLC for tax strategy, business coaching, bookkeeping, or fractional CFO services, you ("Client" or "you") agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use our website or services. Your continued use of this site after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Services Offered
Accountable BC LLC provides the following services to small business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals:

Bookkeeping & Accounting — monthly and annual bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and multi-entity ledger management

Fractional CFO Services — financial oversight, cash flow planning, reporting, and strategic guidance for growing businesses

Discovery Consultations — complimentary 15-minute strategy calls to assess your situation and identify savings opportunities
Specific deliverables and scope for ongoing client engagements are governed by a separate engagement letter or service agreement executed by both parties.

User Eligibility
Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using our site or engaging our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Business clients represent that they have authority to enter into agreements on behalf of their organization.
Fees and Payment
Service fees are outlined in your engagement letter or proposal. All fees are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Recurring service fees (e.g., monthly bookkeeping or fractional CFO retainers) are due on the date specified in your agreement.

Project-based and consulting fees are due as outlined in your engagement letter or invoice.

Invoices not paid within 15 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

Accountable BC LLC reserves the right to suspend services for accounts with past-due balances until payment is received.
Refund Policy
Consulting & Strategy ServicesFees for completed services are non-refundable. Discovery calls are complimentary and carry no fee. If an ongoing engagement is terminated early by either party, you will be billed only for work completed through the termination date, prorated as applicable.
Bookkeeping & Retainer ServicesMonthly retainer fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has commenced. Either party may terminate a recurring engagement with 30 days' written notice.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including written materials, frameworks, templates, strategies, methodologies, graphics, and other proprietary content — is the intellectual property of Accountable BC LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or publicly display any proprietary content without express written permission from Accountable BC LLC. Client-facing deliverables produced under an engagement agreement are for your individual business use only.
Confidentiality
Accountable BC LLC treats all client financial information as strictly confidential. We do not share, sell, or disclose your financial or personal data to third parties except as required by law or with your explicit written consent.
We may use third-party software platforms (e.g., accounting and bookkeeping platforms, secure file-sharing tools, scheduling software) to deliver services. We take reasonable steps to ensure these platforms maintain industry-standard data security practices. Sensitive financial documents are exchanged only via encrypted portals or authorized upload links — never via unsecured email.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Accountable BC LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or reliance on any information provided through our website or consultations.
Our total aggregate liability to any client for claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client in the 90 days immediately preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Accountable BC LLC, its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
Privacy Policy
Your use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using our services, you consent to the practices described therein.
We do not sell your personal information. You may contact us at any time to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes to These Terms
Accountable BC LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For active clients, material changes will be communicated via email with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
